New York ComiCon signing schedule.

Tony

So here are the down-and-dirty details of where you can find me throughout the duration of the New York Comic Con 2008.

my booth will be Booth #1569, which will be right across from Neal Adams!

Also, i will be signing at the following times:
Friday
7-8PM: DC Comics/ Vertigo

Saturday
11AM-Noon: Dark Horse Comics
4-5PM: with Claudio Sanchez @ Autograph Area Table #6

Sunday
4-5PM: DC Comics/ Vertigo

otherwise, i'll likely be at my booth, #1569, doing commissions.
they'll be $100 each and I'll only be able to do a handful every day, so if you want in on one, get there early! But to keep it fair, i'll start the list fresh every day, so if you miss your chance one day, you could catch it the next.

See you there!

Help Wanted: New York Comic Con

Tony

Hey, gang. As most of you know, we'll be attending the New York Comic Con this year for the very first time. Kara and I are planning big, as it will be the biggest show for us this year.

So, here is where you come in. We are looking to hire one or possibly two workers to help us at the convention. The work is light and short (2-3 hours a day at most), plus you can earn some extra cash for the show! If you are interested, please fill out the questions below and email them to Kara at Artsales@tonymooreillustration.com

1. Please tell us a little about yourself and why you want to work for us.

2. What are some of your favorite comics?

3. How long will you be at the show each day?

4. Have you ever been to a comic convention before, and if so, how many?

5. Have you ever worked at a comic convention before, and if so, for whom?

6. Please tell us anything else you think would qualify you for this position.

Thanks!

eBay Buyers Beware of False Second-Chances!

Tony

i've heard recently that someone got a fake second-chance offer on some artwork i had put up.

I'd feel awful if a fan got scammed on something of mine, so please make sure that the email you get is either from me or Kara, or from EBAY.COM. there can be subdomains (service.ebay.com) and whatnot in there, but it should END in EBAY.COM. if the email address looks fishy at all, do yourself a favor and play it safe and contact me or Kara to make sure it's legit.

XXXombies #3 cover colors, Bad News Bugs.

Tony

It's been a long time since i left you without a dope beat to step to.

2008 is in full effect, and with it, i bring artwork!
here are the colors for XXXombies #3, with lineart by the indomitable Kieron Dwyer.

And with the good, comes the bad.
Rich Johnston reports the end of The Exterminators at issue #30. Unfortunately, this is more than mere rumor, and it breaks my heart to know it. I sincerely would like to thank everyone who dared give us a chance for their support. I hope it was fun for you guys, because i know i had a blast. I only regret not being able to do more of it.

In trying times when poor-to-mediocre books are being publicly bashed by the readers who still habitually buy them in droves, but books like ours struggle to find a modest sustainable audience despite the love the fans and critics have shown, it's hard not to take things a little sorely. But those who have read The Exterminators and supported it have been nothing but kind and wonderful to us, for which i can never thank them enough. All good things must pass, but you have all made this one a great time while it lasted.

Brian Posehn represents on The Sarah Silverman Program

Tony

in the newest episode of The Sarah Silverman Program (s2ep4: Cookie Party), Brian Posehn is sporting a handsome zombie t-shirt! Look for the scene in the diner where Brian attempts to talk politics and Sarah pretends to be the mayor!

Also, if you're not already watching that show regularly, there's something wrong with you.

big thanks to John Cottrell for the screencaps.
