Kodansha has announced my upcoming cover for the hit manga series ATTACK ON TITAN, so i thought i'd share an unadulterated look at the artwork. I had a blast on it, and i hope you all enjoy it as well.

Sketch of the Day! POPEYE

As you all probably know, I am one of the owners and directors of Cincy Comicon. We've got an amazing lineup of guests this year, from Rick Remender to Bill Willingham and Chris Roberson, Eric Powell, Johnny Ryan, Frank Kozik, Evan Dorkin, Cameron Stewart, and Darick Robertson, just to name a few. Pound for pound, the most concentrated room of creator talent you'll find at just about any convention, and at a convention that celebrates comics and creators first.

Tony
As a filthy hillbilly child myself, i've always considered Peanuts' PIGPEN a kind of kindred spirit.

Sketch of the Day! PENNYWISE THE DANCING CLOWN
Tony
The genius of Pennywise's creepiness is his simplicity and straightforwardness. Anything can feel creepy when it looks like a relic from the Dust Bowl, but try making everyone crawl out of their skin using every color of the spectrum at full saturation! With one of the most iconic villains ever-- a simple design that could have been the clown from any kid's birthday party, made horrific by Tim Curry, Stephen King's IT left a real scar on the psyche of an entire generation.
8.5" x 9", inks (w/ Raphael brushes) and Copic Marker on chipboard.
To pick up this original art, just float on over to the STORE.
