Sketch of the Day! SAINT OF KILLERS

Tony

If they told stories about this son of a bitch in Sunday school, i probably wouldn't have stopped going to church! Today's sketch features the Saint of Killers, from Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's amazing PREACHER.

8.5" x 9", inks (w/ Raphael brushes) and Copic Marker on chipboard.

The original art for this piece can be found over in the STORE.

Sketch of the Day! FANTOMAH

Tony

Do not bring your evil here! FANTOMAH has warned you for the last time!
If you've not read the amazing adventures of this trippy Fletcher Hanks jungle heroine, i highly recommend seeking them out.

8.5" x 9", inks (w/ Raphael brushes) and Copic Marker on chipboard.

The original art for this piece can be found over in the STORE.

Cincy ComiCon, Assemble!

Tony

As you all probably know, I am one of the owners and directors of Cincy Comicon. We've got an amazing lineup of guests this year, from Rick Remender to Bill Willingham and Chris Roberson, Eric Powell, Johnny Ryan, Frank Kozik, Evan Dorkin, Cameron Stewart, and Darick Robertson, just to name a few. Pound for pound, the most concentrated room of creator talent you'll find at just about any convention, and at a convention that celebrates comics and creators first.

If you're a fan of comic books & the fine folks who create them, CincyComiCon is the convention for you, guaranteed.

Sketch of the Day! SOUTHERN BASTARDS

Tony

Sketch of the Day is back! In celebration of my friends Jason Aaron and Jason Latour's stellar news about the SOUTHERN BASTARDS tv show, i decided to kick off my return from this unintended hiatus with Coach Boss!

8.5" x 9", inks (w/ Raphael brushes) and Copic Marker on chipboard.

as always you can find the originalart for this piece over in the STORE.

FEAR AGENT hits Comixology!

Tony

Lock & load! FEAR AGENT rides again!

It's been a long time in the works, but Rick remender and I are thrilled to announce that our baby, FEAR AGENT, is finally available for digital reading through Comixology!

You can also buy the meat-world editions of the paperbacks and hardcover collections here in the STORE. I also have ART PRINTS available.

Sketch of the Day! PIGPEN

Tony

As a filthy hillbilly child myself, i've always considered Peanuts' PIGPEN a kind of kindred spirit.

This sketch is a actually Bonus Two-Fer, because i accidentally drew it on the back of some life drawing sketches from the Cincy ComiCon Drink & Draw! You can click the additional thumbnails in the STORE entry to see the sketches.

8.5" x 9", inks (w/ Raphael brushes) and Copic Marker on chipboard.
As always, the original art for this piece can be found over in the STORE.

Sketch of the Day! PENNYWISE THE DANCING CLOWN

Tony

The genius of Pennywise's creepiness is his simplicity and straightforwardness. Anything can feel creepy when it looks like a relic from the Dust Bowl, but try making everyone crawl out of their skin using every color of the spectrum at full saturation! With one of the most iconic villains ever-- a simple design that could have been the clown from any kid's birthday party, made horrific by Tim Curry, Stephen King's IT left a real scar on the psyche of an entire generation.

8.5" x 9", inks (w/ Raphael brushes) and Copic Marker on chipboard.
To pick up this original art, just float on over to the STORE.

Sketch of the Day! IMPERATOR FURIOSA

Tony

Just when i thought Charlize Theron couldn't be any greater, they give us IMPERATOR FURIOSA. If you haven't caught MAD MAX: Fury Road yet, i cannot recommend it highly enough.

8.5" x 9", inks (w/ Raphael brushes) and Copic Marker on chipboard.
you can find the original art for this piece over in the STORE.

Sketch of the Day! BILL THE CAT

Tony

ACK! Today's sketch features Bill The Cat from Berkely Breathed's Bloom County/Outland/Opus strips. Reading Breathed's work in the newspaper as a kid really influenced my humor and thinking, not to mention my love of cartooning.

This piece is 6.25" x 10.25", inks and Copic Markers on chipboard.
As always, the original art for this piece can be found over in my STORE.
